Just because KYT is not major in the US market people think they are cheap. The parent company that owns KYT also owns Suomy which is not big in the US either but is in Europe and KYT in Asia. Nobody craps on Suomy though. Both of these brands are represented in multiple race disciplines.
Where did you find a red visor for this helmet? In EU we have the Suomy but I can’t find a red visor.

This is my favorite helmet. My previous favorite helmet was the AGV Corsa R which was priced below the Pista at $800ish but super comfortable. But AGV doesn’t make it anymore. And I don’t see the point on dropping race suit money on a helmet. Glad this came out and it doesn’t hurt that it was KX1 was designed by the same person who made the Pista.
Smart i love how you did the sound test. i say test all top 5 helmets of certain grades.
